Overlay Contents

The Hacking Networked Solutions overlay for Gentoo Linux provides a number of ebuild files for a variety of different packages. A brief description of each package, along with some useful links to documentation, examples of how to use the package in question, and any upstream web sites where appropriate, can be found below.

app-admin/buildserver-scripts

The app-admin/buildserver-scripts package provides a collection of scripts to assist in the running of a "build-server".

The app-admin/buildspace-scripts package provides a collection of scripts to automatically build updated binary packages inside a "build-space".

dev-libs/bash-outlogger

The dev-libs/bash-outlogger package provides a library script written in BASH providing functions to assist generating log output and managing the generated log files.

net-firewall/ipsec-tools

The net-firewall/ipsec-tools package provides a port of KAME's IPsec utilities to the Linux 2.6+ IPsec implementation. The ebuild files offered in the default portage repository are for the stable 0.7.x versions. The ebuild files contained in this overlay are for the 0.8.x series alpha releases.
